We deliver Amazon's internal security tooling for identity management, permissions management, access control, authorization, and authentication. Our services are used company-wide to ensure that Amazon services have a strong security foundation.
We are looking for Technical Program Managers (TPM) from diverse backgrounds, who are creative problem solvers and passionate about delivering solutions that improve both user experience and security. Our services underpin many cloud technologies, so we carefully consider our technology decisions, dependency trees, and architectures to ensure that the company's critical services can depend on us. We want people who are excited to learn, to challenge the status quo, and who are energized by identifying and solving customer problems for highly scalable and available systems on a global scale. We recognize that qualifications can be demonstrated through various avenues beyond traditional education or direct job experience. We encourage candidates to highlight transferable skills acquired through volunteer work, leadership roles, or other non-traditional paths, in addition to any professional experience.
In this role, you will manage the lifecycle of complex cross-functional security programs that deliver internal security services at Amazon. We believe that user experience is a key factor in security outcomes, and we are working to transform security user experiences. You'll apply your creative problem-solving skills and work with service teams and partner security teams to deliver simple and elegant security solutions that solve our customers' biggest challenges.
We have a team culture that encourages innovation and we take a high degree of ownership for our program vision and execution of ideas. You can prioritize well, communicate clearly, and have a consistent track record of delivery. You are proactive in removing roadblocks and can handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will rally support for your initiatives and are able to handle business escalations with a data-driven approach to build trust with Sr. leaders.
