What you will need to be successful in this role
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Industrial Design, Visual Design, HCI, or a related field
- Develop innovative design solutions and world-class product experiences that transform how people work around the world
- Drive user experiences from concept to delivery based on in-depth comprehension of user needs and design principles
- As part of a cross-functional team, champion your design approach, reconcile feedback from various stakeholders, and provide your input to others in a collaborative, supportive, working environment
- Participate in workshops and collaboration sessions
- Gather information on previous design and research efforts to learn about key persona(s), use cases, and other contextual information
- Outline requirements and prioritization for design deliverables
- Create design deliverables (which may include prototypes, concepts, wireframes, interaction flows, moodboards, screen comps, design specs)
- Validation of design concepts through internal partners and external customers, as applicable

What backgrounds/skills can we be more flexible with that can be learned on the job?
- BA/BS degree or higher in Design, Design Communication, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent combination of education and experience in other related fields
- Experience participating in the complete product development lifecycle of web and/or software applications
- Experience in user experience design or industry experience (corporate, software, web or agency)
- Be able to design in Figma
Does this position require to sit onsite or travel to an SN office?
- The work will be remote. Being able to come into one of the offices for collaborations is a bonus.
Does this person have to work in a specific time zone? (e.g. - If a person on the East Coast can work PST, is that ok?)
- There does not have to be complete overlap, but there will regularly be meetings based on Pacific time that are critical.
What you will need to be successful in this role
- Experience participating in the complete product development lifecycle of web and/or software applications
- Experience in user experience design or industry experience (corporate, software, web or agency)
- Ability to design using Figma required
