Role: Staff Accountant

Pay Rate Range: $60000 - $70000 / Year

A NJ based media company is looking for a staff accountant to join a growing team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparation of daily cash reports
• Chargeback management including research, response, and entry in a timely manner
• Liaison between general accounting, Order Management, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Prepare analysis for print production and events expense to determine proper month end accruals
• Analyze of revenue and expense accounts
• Bank reconciliations
• Management of full account analysis files (month end schedules) for manager review
• Assist with the yearly financial statement audit by preparing audit schedules
• Assist accounts payable and receivable
• Perform administrative tasks to support the Finance Department

Requirements:
• 2-3 years of accounting
• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Experience with NetSuite, Concur, Excel (pivots & V-Lookups)
• Ability to work with a team but also independently and take initiative to resolve problems by researching history in order to create and propose solutions
• Eagerness to learn and take on new responsibilities for professional growth
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
• Willingness to perform administrative and support tasks daily
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to be proactive, accurate, and melilotus about details
