Role : Staff Accountant

Location : Philadelphia, PA

Pay : $30 / hour

Responsibilities:

• Review all invoices for proper documentation (purchase orders and delivery documents) and approval prior to input in Accounting System
• Review and process employee expense reports
• Generate check run batch, obtain signatures and mail/distribute checks
• Ensure timely vendor payments
• Manage monthly AP closing process, including AP accrual entry
• Reconcile vendor statements, identity and research discrepancies
• Prepare credit applications for new accounts
• Maintain A/P files by vendor

Requirements:

• 3-5 years experience in AP or general accounting
• Grant accounting experience
• Associates or Bachelors Degree in Accounting
• System: NetSuite
