RemX has an immediate opening for a Staff Accountant to join the accounting team of a growing company located in Richmond, VA.

Hours: 8-4:30 Monday-Friday

Salary: up to 70K

Location: 100% onsite

Responsibilities:

• Post payments
• Post revenues
• Enter credit memos
• Research deductions
• Resolve invalid or unauthorized deductions
• Work with internal teams to resolve customer issues and collections
• Collections activities: review customer payment plans, payment history, credit lines
• Assist with maintaining the general ledger/journal entries
• Assist with month end, quarter end and year end closing processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting preferred
• 5+ years' experience in accounts receivable, general accounting in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Advanced Excel skills, proficient with Word, Outlook
• ERP system experience
