This position for the Cardiopulmonary department at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center (ARRMC) would be for day shifts and on weekdays only (no weekends).

Position Summary
Under limited supervision, theStaff Assistant 2performs a variety of administrative support functions for a department or program including all or part of the following: create and edit letters, forms, presentations, and documents using word processing, database, spreadsheets, or similar programs. They will also collect data and develop and generate reports to support department functions, schedule patients and visitors for various department services, including tests and procedures, assist manager with budget creation and administration and coordinate meetings as directed including location, participants, agenda, and minutes and analyze data related to reimbursements, charges, accounts, etc. They may perform other administrative duties to support program(s) and/or department such as scheduling, transcription, auditing, department software maintenance, preparation of invoices, check requests, travel requests, etc.

This role in the Cardiopulmonary department is a fast-paced, front desk role located in the Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center and does include greeting, directing, and scheduling patients for appointments and procedures. The ideal candidate will have the ability and willingness to work at least 2 days a week and to flex up in hours if needed to cover for vacations and sick leave.
Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of progressive clerical experience providing knowledge and experience with coordinating projects required.
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other office related computer programs required.
  • Associate degree in office sciences, business, or related area, preferred .
