Novant Health is hiring a registered nurse for the Day shift at our New Hanover Regional Medical Center, in Wilmington NC. We're offering up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus as well as $7,500 relocation.

We're seeking a registered nurse to join our team. We are a group of very strong and diverse nurses. We welcome experienced nurses who have Orthopedic and Operating Room Experience. As a member of our dynamic and close-knit healthcare environment, you will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting patients through their surgical journey.

Job Responsibilities:

• Establish authentic personalized relationships with patients and their chosen support system


• Collaborate with physicians and team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans


• Utilize best scientific evidence and compassion to assist the patient in navigating their health journey


• Accept responsibility, authority, and accountability for management and provision of care in accordance with policies and procedures


• Embrace diversity and inclusion to ensure a strong organization capable of providing remarkable healthcare

Job Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing .


• Orthopedic Experience Preferred.


• Current valid North Carolina nursing license required .


• Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required .


• One-year of acute nursing experience required .

If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
