Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) has an opportunity for a Outpatient Physical Therapist at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. The Hospitals are part of NYC Health + Hospitals. Jacobi is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and NCB has 213 licensed beds. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein Medical College to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Opportunity Details

Major Trauma, Burn and Stroke Center in the Bronx looking for a full time Staff Physical Therapist to join our team.

• Perform physical therapy clinical tasks including initial evaluation, treatment, re-evaluation and discharge summaries.
• 24 bed acute Inpatient Rehab Unit, Bedside therapy and outpatient therapy services.
• Keep patient records and participate in Department statistical surveys, performance improvement projects, in-services and patient rounds.
• Adhere to all standards and/or regulations of the Joint Commission, NYDOH and other appropriate regulatory bodies.
• Keep current with and follow all regulations relating but not limited to, HIPAA, Medicare, NYS Medicaid, medical recordkeeping and cliniolegal issues.

Qualifications

• NYS licensed Physical Therapist
• Experience preferred, but not required
• Hospital or ortho/sports experience an advantage
