Staff Research Associate I - Anesthesiology

Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, the Staff Research Associate I (SRA 1) will have the following professional responsibilities, including, but not limited to: Coordinating resource flow and pediatric/adult human research studies, including recruitment, scheduling, and data collection with the investigative team; Submitting and tracking subject reimbursement for research study procedures according to UCLA protocols; Assisting with clinical study IRB submissions/amendments and correspondence, human study initiation and protocol implementation; Identifying and recruiting eligible pediatric and adult patients for enrollment in research studies and coordinating the process of obtaining informed consent; Administering cognitive assessments and questionnaires to pediatric and adult subjects; Working with fund managers for budget development and billing of studies; Assisting in MRI suite preparation (preparing subject for MRI scanning and ensuring MRI safety protocols are in place) before the data collection procedure; Maintaining updated regulatory documents including HIPAA and IRB research certifications.

Please note that this is a full- time 18 month limited position, and may convert to career .

Salary range: $26.52 - $31.63/Hourly
