Working Conditions
- This position is physically located in Sacramento and is currently offered with the potential for a hybrid work environment. Consistent with Policy Directive 5338, Telework may be considered with prior approval from management. If approved, incumbent is expected to report to work at the Allenby building at least twice per week, as directed by their supervisor. Travel throughout California up to 5% will be required with prior notice.

- At least 3 years of contracting and/or administration experience is highly desirable
- Experience in developing scope of work, briefing memorandums, legislative reviews, policies and procedures, and processing contract documents
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Adobe, Power Point, Outlook, and SharePoint
- Experience as a lead in process improvement
- Possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and vendors
- Dependable and punctual, use initiative, good judgment and strong work ethic, take independent action, timeliness, prioritization, and work well under pressure
- Certified in basic acquisitions through CalPCA
- Knowledge of and experience with the California Public Contract Code, Gov Code, Welfare and Institutions Code, the State Administrative Manual, the State Contracting Manual and FI$Cal.
- Accurately interpret data, and solve programmatic and administrative problems
