Under the general direction of the Director of Strategic Stakeholder Engagement & Customer Experience (SSM II), the Staff Services Manager I (Specialist) will have the functional title of Manager of Outreach, Customer Service, and User Experience. This position will play a pivotal role in the implementation and maintenance of customer service, outreach, and marketing strategies. The incumbent will also operationalize new policies to validate employers who have been exempted from the program and seek to ensure the mandate is being properly enforced.

- Experience in a high-pressure customer service environment, preferably with a highly visible State agency.
- Experience and ability to confidently and professionally present information to diverse groups of audiences

- Ability to work effectively both independently and cooperatively with others
- Ability to effectively and professionally facilitate meetings with all levels of leadership
- Proficiency with communications-related technologies, office systems such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Outlook, and other computer applications, telecommunications and video equipment, internet, voicemail, e-mail, etc.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills (oral and written) to seek out and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
