The Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) is recruiting for the position of Staff Services Manager I (Specialist) in the Basic Training Bureau.
The incumbent serves as the project manager, leader, and coordinator over the POST Public Safety Dispatcher Program.

Special Requirements
A supplemental Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) must be submitted along with your state application. If the supplemental SOQ is not submitted, the applicant will not be considered for an interview. The supplemental SOQ should be typed on 8 1/2 x 11 paper using Arial 12-point font, and include the applicant's full name and date at the top of the page. It should not exceed 2 pages in length. The SOQ should address the following: Tell us about your experience with and/or knowledge of the dispatcher role in California law enforcement. The incumbent will be required to assist in the creation and implementation of POST Public Dispatcher programs. If selected for this position what would be your priority and why? Tell us about your experience with presenting/facilitating information to small and large audiences.
