    • Advanced Design tool Experience (Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, MIRO) Figma Experience highly preferred and will be prioritized over other design tools.
    • Experience designing for Responsive, Adaptive and Native is ideal.
    • Experience designing for WCAG accessibility is needed.
    • Experience creating products with atomic design systems is preferred.
  • What backgrounds/skills can we be more flexible with that can be learned on the job?
    • MIRO, Virtual Whiteboarding tools, Prototyping, UX Research, Backlog user story creation and maintenance.
  • Does this position require to sit onsite or travel to an SN office?
    • No Travel Required
  • Does this person have to work in a specific time zone? (e.g. - If a person on the East Coast can work PST, is that ok?)
    • Needs to be able to work PST hours, with occasional (~4hrs) IST overlap monthly being early morning or late night for product design reviews. MT is a preferred timezone as many of the design team leaders are located in Colorado. Denver, Colorado candidates would be a nice to have.

Skills

In order to qualify for and be successful in this role, you should have:
  • 8 years of relevant design experience.
  • An inspiring portfolio demonstrating end-to-end, user-centered, design solutions based on human-centered design and research data.
  • Strong experience working with design tools to create comprehensive low-fidelity and high-fidelity solutions and specifications that enforce consistency, usability, and accessibility as a part of a larger system of products.
  • A growth mindset, continually strengthening core skills through complex assignments and varied experience.
  • Ability to build trusting relationships through clear and proper communication.
  • Continually envisions how processes and products could be better, drawing on experience and available metrics, data, and research.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Industrial Design, Visual Design, HCI, or a related field. A working experience of the equivalent is also acceptable for the position.
