Jacksonville Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking a hard working and eager Staffing Coordinator to join our facility. We are a 120-bed skilled nursing facility offering an array of therapy services. We have two units with a mixture of long-term care and short-term care. Staffing coordinator's primary job is to ensure adequate and appropriate staffing of the facility nursing department through generation, management and revision of the master schedules while making adjustments for planned and unplanned leaves of absence, call-ins, and unplanned events, to meet the needs of the residents based on budget, census, and as may be directed by facility administration. Responsibilities:

Development, management and revision of the master schedules, coordination with DON and other administrative staff to ensure adequate staffing and reporting of identified problems, maintain accurrate documentation of census, staffing hrs and staffing ratio to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations as well as facility policy; reviewing requests for PTO, vacation, etc; fulfilling staffing vacancies in advance to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts, keeping meticulous attendance records and assisting with progressive disciplinary process; communicating with nursing staff, checking and correcting time punches, signing time correction forms to correct miss punches; work the floor as needed when shifts cannot be filled

• Use the wristband or photo card file to identify residents before administering treatments, serving meals, etc., as necessary.

• Ensure that the resident's room is ready for receiving the resident (i.e., bed made, name tags up, admission kit available, etc.).

• Greet residents and escort them to their room.

• Make resident comfortable (i.e., put to bed, get water, etc.). Inventory and mark resident's personal possessions as instructed.

• Assist residents with packing their personal possessions when they are being transferred to a new room, or when being discharged.

• Transport residents to new rooms or to the receiving area.

• Obtain vitals.

• Assist residents with daily dental and mouth care (i.e., brushing teeth/dentures, oral hygiene, special mouth care, etc.).

• Report all complaints and grievances made by the resident.
