Requirements:
  • High school graduate
  • Knowledge and understanding of staffing patterns
  • Working knowledge of MS Windows based applications, specifically, Excel
  • Possess the following abilities, skills, and knowledge:

o Interact professionally with residents, family members, employees, and visitors

Essential Functions:
  • Plan, develop, organize, and implement the staffing schedules for Licensed Nurses and LNAs on all three shifts
  • Make corrections to the schedule as directed by Director of Nursing Services (DNS) or authorized designee.
  • Follow Call-In List to replace call-ins as approved by the DNS or authorized designee.
  • Maintain list of all weekend sick calls and reschedule employee for make-up weekend.
  • Track absenteeism and report identified patterns to DNS or authorized designee.
  • Ensure accuracy of posted schedules.
  • Post the public display of staffing hours Monday through Friday and prepare a summary for weekend posting.
  • Coordinate vacations and requests for PTO
  • Other duties as assigned by the DNS or authorized designee.
