Description

Under the supervision of the Resident Care Director, the Staffing and Supply Coordinator performs general clerical duties, coordinates staffing requirements and scheduling, and prepares reports for payroll.

Schedules employees to work all shifts and makes daily adjustments to balance staffing with

census. Appropriately assigns request for days off and utilization of Paid Time Off (PTO). Completes a monthly staffing schedule.

Compiles information for payroll. Submits data to payroll for bonus pay and overtime.

Ensures supplies, equipment, and work environment are kept clean, well stocked, and organized at all times. Dispense supplies to all areas and maintains appropriate inventory levels. Achieves and maintains working knowledge of all office equipment, facilitates repairs as appropriate.

Maintains ongoing communication with supervisor to discuss matters pertinent to centrally

supply services.

Qualifications

Minimum Education

• High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience • Preferred X Required

• Associates Degree (Materials Management) X Preferred • Required

Required Skills

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Minimum Work Experience

Preferred: 1 year experience in long term care setting
