MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1.Completion of one-year of law school accredited by an organization
recognized by the Council for Higher Education (CHEA), the United States
Department of Education (USDE), or by the American Bar Association (ABA).

2. Legal work experience preferred.

Length of employment in this position is dependent on the selected
individual's law school requirements, not to exceed a semester.

Spring Semester - January through April
Summer Semester - May through August
Fall Semester - September through December

**The salary for an ERS Retiree (or non-contributing member) will
be reduced by 2.5%.**

The following Military Occupational Specialty codes are generally
applicable to this position. Applicants must fully complete the
summary of experience to determine if minimum qualifications are met.

This vacancy is a position within the State Counsel for Offenders division
which is governed by and reports directly to the Texas Board of
Criminal Justice.
