Job Details:
  • Provide full range of Psycho-diagnostic services for veterans at VA clinics with Indian Health Services treating tribal veterans in Chinle, Kayenta, Polacca and Tuba City, AZ.
  • Perform psychiatric evaluations for a diverse population of patients-male, female geriatric, and post deployment combat veterans.
  • Responsible for identification of patient problems requiring consultation with other multi-disciplinary medical center staff and making appropriate referrals.
  • Participate effectively in team meetings and treatment planning conferences and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members.
    Qualifications:

    Psychiatry Physician must be licensed in the state
    Extensive understanding of mental health issues as associated geographically separated patients.
    Detail oriented, analytical
    Demonstrated ability to work well independently and with others
    Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
    Proficient with computers as it relates to electronic medical documentation.
