Position Summary:

• The Stationary Engineer Lead operates and maintains stationary engines and mechanical equipment such as central plant refrigeration, steam boilers, air condition systems, equipment and allied facilities.
• Positions Supervised: All Stationary Engineers. Supervision of the P.M Mechanics and other on occasion is possible in the absence of the Engineering Manager
• Must be able to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Must have a good working knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Requires ability to operate specialized equipment: i.e., boiler, chiller, handtools.

Shift:

Full-time, 40 hours per week

Rotating shift

Weekend Work Required

Education/ Experience

• High school diploma or equivalency required, or Trade School Equivalent
• 5 years' experience in plant operations; experience in a hospital preferred

Licensure/Certifications:

First Class Engineer's License within the state of Maryland

Salary Range: Minimum $35.31 per hour - Maximum $58.26 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
