General Requirements
State of Michigan LPN, EMT, or Paramedic license if applicable RMA/CMA preferred.
Work Experience
Clinical Experience preferred. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) system preferred.
Education
• High School Diploma, (2) GED or (3) the successful completion of twelve grades combined with the continued enrollment in an Early College Program.. • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant, Cardio Tech, EMT, Paramedic, or LPN program.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills
• Mobility required • Ability to work as part of a team to provide quality patient care. • Demonstrates a positive team attitude and has interpersonal skills to effectively and appropriately communicate with clients, families, providers, and co-workers • Necessary visual and auditory acuity to monitor patient's condition and operate department equipment..

- Take vital signs.
- Enter data in electronic medical record.
- Maintain/Stock clinic supplies and exam rooms.
- Patient assistance program for applicable patients.
- Clean surgical equipment.
- Clerical and other duties assigned by the Manager of Patient Care the essential duties of the job beginning with the most important.
