Job Description

The Sterile Processing Technician II reports to the Nurse Manager. Under general supervision of the department manager, shift supervisor or designee, the Sterile Processing Technician II performs instrument production, case assembly, sterile processing, and decontamination of surgical instruments in compliance with medical center policies and procedures, state, local and federal requirements. This position will also function as a preceptor to new hires.
