General Summary:
  • Under the supervision of the SPD Manager/Team Leader, performs and participates in decontamination, cleaning, assembling, packaging, scanning, sterilization, storage and distribution of reusable surgical instrumentation and equipment according to established standards and procedures to ensure sterile and functioning supply of materials and equipment.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must obtain CBSPD (Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution) or Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) or IAHCSMM (International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materials Management) certification within two (2) years of hire.

Salary Range: Minimum 17.07 per hour - Maximum 19.81 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
