Job Duties

Virginia Military Institute is accepting applications for a part-time Store/Warehouse Clerk.

Job Responsibilities include:

• Unpack and check items received against purchase order/invoices.
• Place stock in proper locations and keep in order.
• Ability to physically lift merchandise (up to 50 lbs) to stock shelves and move inventory as needed.
• Assist with inventory procedures.
• Maintain ongoing inventory in preparation for yearly audit.
• Assist with checking in and recording all uniform items from departing, Foreign Study and graduating cadets.
• Accurately size and tag garments to be returned to stock as prescribed and return to proper area.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid motor vehicle driver's license required.

Additional Considerations

Experience working in a warehouse environment.
