Job Summary: Serves as a working leader responsible for leading a minimum of three associates NA-2 in the accomplishment of the handling marking and stocking of merchandise in an Exchange store storeroom or location.

Duties and Responsibilities: As working leader of three or more associates performs the following - Sets the pace performing nonsupervisory work of the same kind and level as that done by the associates led. Passes on to associates instructions received from supervisor demonstrates proper work method and starts work. Insures that needed materials and tools are available. Works along with associates marking stocking loading and unloading merchandise from vehicles. - Checks work in progress and when finished for compliance with supervisor s instructions on work sequence procedures methods and deadlines. Answers questions regarding procedures policies written instructions and other directives. Provides information to supervisor on status and progress of work causes of delays and overall work operations and problems. Provides input for work performance appraisals and recommends leave. - Loads and unloads merchandise from delivery vehicle examines items for damage or pilferage. Verifies for type and quantity of merchandise received for agreement with documentation provided brings to attention of superior discrepancies and or deficiencies found. Assists in the assembly and loading of merchandise in connection with requests received. - Unpacks segregates and stocks counter and or shelves with merchandise in accordance with established instructions. May price stamp merchandise. - Assists in the conduct of periodic inventories by counting stock items remaining on shelves. - Assists in keeping storage and sales area clean and orderly. - May assist sales personnel in bagging and wrapping customer purchases. - Works under the general supervision of a designated supervisor who provides instructions and assistance in carrying out assignments. Work is reviewed in terms of adherence to instructions and procedures. - Performs other related duties as assigned. PHYSICAL EFFORT: Walks stand bends or stoops and moves arms in filling shelves and counters. Lifts or moves heavy boxes or crates frequently weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally over 50 pounds. WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in store display areas which are well lighted and maintained at a comfortable temperature. Aisles are often crowded with customers and shopping carts. In working in the storage area or loading dock may be exposed to hot or cold weather or damp and drafty conditions. There is danger of minor injuries such as cuts scrapes and bruises or heat sealer burns. TRAINING REQUIREMENT: Associate must receive Hazardous Material HazMat training within 90 days of hire per Department of Transportation regulations.

Six months experience performing various duties in connection with loading unloading and verifying of merchandise. Physical requirements Walks stand bends or stoops and moves arms in filling shelves and counters. Lifts or moves heavy boxes or crates frequently weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally over 50 pounds.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN OR HAVE LIVED IN THE U.S. FOR THREE YEARS.
