JOB DESCRIPTION:

Knowledge of inventory materials and store keeping practices.

Ability to maintain accurate records.

Ability to operate a motor vehicle and/or warehouse equipment such as forklifts and motorized/hydraulic jacks.

Receives, unpacks and stores supplies for the facility.

Issues supplies from the storeroom on approved requisitions for facility.

Assembles, packs and transports or arranges for transporting goods/materials.

Keeps current records/inventory of physical stock.

Communicates in writing or verbally with individuals, co-workers, and/or supervisors utilizing agency forms, computer programs and email as required.

Follow Department Operation Regulations (DOR), HHC policies and procedures and ICF guidelines.

Participates in condensed Safety Care and demonstrate Safety Care principles in order to minimize the risk of injury to individuals, staff, and the general public.

Attain and maintain CPR and First Aid certification and utilize as necessary. **Must be able to perform CPR on the floor while testing out.

Able to perform physical requirements including, but not limited to: 1) frequent standing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, or crouching; 2) regular walking, talking, hearing, reaching with hands and arms (including above head); and 3) occasional climbing of stairs or balancing.

Performs additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

All you need for success as a Stores/Warehouse Assistant:

High School Diploma or Equivalent and 0-2 years of experience. (Substitutions may be allowed).
