Summary
SWE Operations & Planning provides strategic planning and tactical operations support across Software Engineering (SWE). This includes communications, design, and event production services; global space planning; and employee onboarding, technical training, and career development opportunities via Software University. We are looking for a collaborative, results oriented, and innovative person to led the audio/visual production of various internal events for the SWE organization and partner groups.
Candidates should have a passion for seeking exciting and novel ways to reach employees; foster an environment focused on elevating the employee experience, a commitment to excellence, and delivering extraordinary events. The ideal candidate is a team player and self-starter and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Outstanding interpersonal skills are necessary, as you will coordinate with cross-functional teams across Apple.
Key Qualifications
Deep understanding of Dante, audio networking, and BlackMagic ATEM video switchers
Experience planning, managing and delivering multiple projects with varied and compressed deadlines
Able to establish rapport and credibility to foster trust and collaboration with stakeholders
Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience
Proven ability to multi-task and operate under tight and compressed timelines
Flexible and calm when faced with ambiguity
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential to this role.
Description
- Manage virtual, hybrid and in-person employee events from end to end
- Knowledge and experience with digital, live-streamed, and in-person and hybrid event environments, platforms, and tools
- Partner in-depth with internal and external production teams
- Manage end-to-end event programming, including communications, coordinate venue needs, room set-up, ordering supplies, training materials, creating schedules, and facilitating issue resolution
- Work with stakeholders to create materials and processes that further the employee experience
- Facilitate training sessions for cohorts of employees, based on program needs
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in event production in a corporate environment

- - Strong video and photo production experience; video editing expertise, plus working knowledge of studio technologies
- - HTML, CSS, and JavaScript experience
