We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Manufacturing Strategic Planning and Fulfillment Analyst with a strong focus on supply chain management. The ideal candidate will have experience in aerospace manufacturing and understand global supply dynamics. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our production schedules, reducing risks, maintaining proper inventory levels and meeting the stringent timelines of our OEM and customer requirements.

The position will be responsible for the ship plan through delivery with direct commercial interaction and responsible for developing and implementing tools to optimize operations planning throughout the shop at both macro and micro levels.

This is a highly visible role that has a direct impact on both daily sales targets and strategic business development.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

  • Maintain optimal raw material and finished good inventory levels to support production, customer requirements, and maximize P&L metrics. adjusting as needed per sales forecast.
  • Identify and develop real time tools to allow operations management transparency to production velocity,
  • Complete data analysis to drive milestone commitments to meet customer delivery demands.
  • Update and control the monthly S&OP
  • Direct daily communication with commercial contacts (GE, Rolls Royce, etc.)
  • Identify and develop tools for front line supervisors/managers to better plan and forecast.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive master plans for aerospace manufacturing processes, focusing on supply chain efficiency and risk reduction.
  • Develop multiple sources of redundant supply to mitigate risk of disruption
  • Coordinate and manage the global procurement of various steels and titanium, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate and manage the global delivery of finished goods, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to streamline manufacturing processes.
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategic solutions.
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks associated with supply chain disruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management within the aerospace manufacturing industry, with a focus on forging manufacturing.
  • Proven experience in global procurement of a variety of steels and titanium.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
  • Broad knowledge of engineering, finance, production control, scheduling, inventory and purchasing.

SPECIAL SKILLS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
