TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager located in Atlanta, GA.

Responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing and procurement
strategies targeting quality, cost, and delivery.

As the Strategic Sourcing and Category Manager for Professional Services (Indirect Spend), you will play a critical role in overseeing the procurement strategy and execution for a range of professional services categories. Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, you will identify cost-saving opportunities, develop sourcing strategies, and negotiate contracts to ensure optimal value for the organization.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives for professional services categories, including legal services, consulting, marketing, and HR, among others.
  • Lead RFx processes (Request for Proposal, Request for Quote, etc.) to solicit bids from suppliers and ensure competitive pricing and terms.
  • Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry best practices to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvement.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal value while maintaining quality and service levels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and driving continuous improvement.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements, providing guidance and support throughout the procurement process.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive procurement projects from inception to
    completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Monitor supplier performance and compliance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to mitigate risk and drive supplier accountability.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends in professional services procurement, incorporating relevant
    insights into sourcing strategies.
  • Work with suppliers to resolve contract management and compliance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support Indirect Sourcing and as assigned by the Manager.
  • Perform Business Reviews with key suppliers and manage current performance,
    aligning corrective actions, and developing collaborative initiatives.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree: Supply Chain Management or Business Administration is
    required; Master's/MBA preferred.
  • Certifications: Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Six Sigma Green/Black
    Belt or PMP desired.
  • Expert understanding of purchasing policies, procedures, practices, and the value and use of procure-to-pay (P2P) digital platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel, Word, Visio), SAP, Oracle and/or Ariba.
  • Deep understanding of strategic sourcing and procurement processes and
    strategies.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
  • Ability to work with ambiguous data and transform it into a clear story used for analysis and decision-making.
  • 10+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, and relevant category experience in indirect spend.
  • Ability to interact and negotiate with Key suppliers and internal stakeholders on key contracts and services while negotiating in complex and ever-changing environments.
  • A flexible, dynamic, self-demanding and proactive individual; able to motivate him/herself.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop the organization's future state strategy.
  • Strong Business Acumen - the ability to understand challenges through the eyes of the business leaders.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills to build and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently present complex information to senior executives.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency to deliver results.
  • Must have the ability to demonstrate expertise across a complex set of electronics and electrical spend categories, including knowledge of marketplace dynamics, supplier profiles, current events, and technical processes/capabilities.
  • Experience with ERP systems, Spend Data Analytics & Reporting, eSourcing and contract management systems required.
  • Identify and develop business cases for a healthy year-over-year of cost reduction pipeline with suppliers through should costing, process improvement and innovative strategies.
