The Structural Engineer will be writing the work instruction that will be implemented on aircraft. Collaborating with the mechanics when something is damaged with the aircraft. The structural engineer will get an action item and reach out to mechanic, go on site to look at damage, come up with a solution for repair and send over to stress engineer. Once the stress engineer writes the report and send back to structural engineer.
- Working with mechanics to understand damage and defects with aircraft structure,
- Going onsite to inspect damage and defects
- Writing work instruction to implement repairs that will be sent to stress engineer for analysis
- Providing work instruction to mechanics to fix any damage

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelors degree from accredited university with background in Mechanical, Structural, Materials, or Aerospace Civil Engineering.
• 3-10 years' experience
o Repair experience
o MRB background (material review board)
• Background in Aviation/Aerospace
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
