The function of this position is to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Stryker platform and associated equipment to bring the fleet to a 1020 standard. You will conduct quality checks of vehicles in accordance with de-processing check sheets and Joint Technical Inspection forms. You will handle equipment modification and installation, assist team members in technical areas as needed, and perform safety operations, preventative maintenance checks and hold organizational maintenance procedures. Additionally, you will actively engage in promoting a workplace free from environmental health and safety related hazards including training and ensuring proper use of personnel protective equipment as deemed appropriate.

Required Skills & Experience

2-5 years experience as a mechanic working on Diesel
Engines and Hydraulic systems
Experience using Multimeters, Micrometers and other
troubleshooting tools.
Documented commercial training and/or experience
acceptable in lieu of military vehicle experience
Must be a team player who is solutions oriented and
welcomes a challenge

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience on Stryker, LAV 2.5 or LAV III
Experience performing maintenance on tactical/combat
vehicles preferred (91B, 91S, 63S, 63W or 63B)
Demonstrate good housekeeping skills and
communication skills
Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once
