Who We Are:

Join an independent R&D company to develop prototype systems to solve national security problems. The intern will work with scientists and engineers within the Applied Power Division to observe and learn about the R&D industry.

Objectives of this Role:

  • Student interns are given focused projects and/or current challenges in designing, building, debugging, and implementing embedded systems, peripheral solutions, data analytics, and/or software modules at varying levels of integration.
  • Opportunity for students to gain job experience for transitioning from
  • the university into the private sector.


Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

  • Develop software solutions for unique, challenging projects.
  • Interface with scientists, engineers, and technicians to generate solutions.
  • Perform independently and as part of a team.


Requirements:

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelors degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Cyber Operations within the College of Engineering.
  • 0 years: Applicant should have completed their junior year and be enrolled as a full-time student entering their senior year.
  • Strong mathematical background.
  • Familiarity with various coding languages (ie. Python, Java, C etc).
  • A valid/clear driver's license is required.


Special Requirements:

Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
