Job Summary/Responsibilities
Implement the Marketing Communications/Public Relations/Social Media program developed by the MarComm "Cases" Class during the Fall 2023 Semester.

More specifically, employee will be responsible for:

• Knowing the Campus Canines calendar of events, dates, times, places as far in advance as possible.

• Creating a Facebook and Instagram calendar as far in advance as possible and planning postings in keeping with the overall plan.

• Also be ready at a moment's notice to put out event changes, postponements in case of bad weather or other emergencies.

• Notify Volunteer Coordinator, IBH Administrator and IBH Director of anything unusual that happens during a visit. (unusual visitor, dog misbehaving, student misbehaving, UNF president visiting, anything noteworthy)

Provide a monthly overview report to IBH Director on number of visits, people seen by Campus Canines (rough numbers), social media activity, any news coverage of note, any other information in keeping with the objectives with the original proposed communications plan.

Understand that the information handled in this office is confidential and sharing details

of the execution of the program with anyone outside the IBH Center would be grounds for dismissal. Further, the person in this position should establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others using tact, patience, mutual trust and courtesy.
Required Qualifications
No degree requirements. This position requires interest in marketing communications, public relations, social media, healthcare administration or mental health. Preferred Qualifications
Must possess effective communications skills. Must be computer literate, and able to use software programs to track projects and provide reports in a timely manner.

Must be able to use network systems and relevant software programs.
