Who We Are:
The Aerospace Structures section of the Structural Engineering Department focuses on the development and life management of military aircraft. It provides turn-key research and development services, state-of-the-art structural analysis capability, and full-scale vehicle to small-scale component testing for all segments of the aerospace community. The Aerospace Structures Section also has a long-established history in supporting Aircraft Structural Integrity Programs (ASIP).

Objectives of this Role:
- Work under the direction of a senior Engineer to assist in assembling research test rigs, operating tests, recording measurements, processing data, coding test software, etc.
- Obtain meaningful research experience in the areas of testing, electronics, and integration.
- Apply the acquired knowledge and skills from school in a practical situation.
- A strong interest in coding.
- Summer 2025 position.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on work in a laboratory environment with electronics.
- Utilize multiple programming languages to help build software interfaces.
- Support analysis and testing. Participate in data acquisition and interpret results to make conclusions about the work.
- Perform computer-related tasks that include coding, creating diagrams, and reporting.
Requirements:
- Must be pursuing a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related degree field.
- 0 years: A strong interest in aircraft, electronics, coding, schematics.
- A valid/clear driver's license is required.
