Job Summary/Basic Function
Student employees with the Center for Civic Responsibility and Leadership ( CCRL ) have the opportunity develop skills that are essential for being civically engaged and active in the communities where they live, work, and study. Students will support CCRL with voter registration drives and other voter-related issues, such as identifying students' voting locations, mail-in ballots, and change of voting address. These opportunities will include scheduled shifts in the McNairy Library atrium. Other work hours will be available for voter outreach in the residence halls. Student CCRL employees also may work to support the work of the CCRL Civic Engagement Fellows in the implantation of CCRL programs.
Students will also interact with individuals who shape the world we live in-lobbyists, members of think tanks, members of non-profit organizations, members of the media, as well as those who work in the legislative, judicial, and executive branches of government.

- Referred for the job by center director Laura Granruth.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to engage with community to support the center mission.
