Student Lending Relationship Manager

The incumbent will primarily be responsible for driving the mission of our College Bound Citizens program to provide financial aid education to High School students and their families. The role will encompass several different ways to distribute the education through High School, community, and our branch network partnerships. The Student Lending Relationship Manager will maintain existing relationships while building new opportunities.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow relationships with High School and community organizations throughout multiple states
• Serve as a subject matter expert on financial aid basics and college financing
• Conduct presentations on topics including financial aid awareness and financial wellness both virtually and in person with direct customer facing opportunities
• Partner with Retail branch ambassadors to build community relationships and conduct sessions
• Where applicable, work closely with Student Lending Sales Team colleagues to maximize internal and external distribution
• Collaborate to develop and execute communications and new sessions
• Ensure all administrative responsibilities are completed and on time, as outlined in the department procedures, including updates to Salesforce.com, scheduling reports, expenses and strategy work
• Travel (including overnight) as needed to execute job responsibilities
• Attend activities relating to industry trade shows and other direct customer facing opportunities

Primary territory: New England

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3-5 years of work experience, related to HS or college a plus
• Ability to inform, educate, influence, and effectively execute presentations with large, public audiences
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
• Business leadership - Ability to coordinate and drive business development efforts
• Project management -Lead projects from inception through completion

Hours & Work Schedule

Hours per Week: 40

Work Schedule: M-F with flexible evenings and weekends as required by the business
