Job Summary/Basic Function

Employee will provide help to students visiting the Student Support & Resource center including scheduling appointments for Financial Literacy / FAFSA Help, answering phones, navigation of basic needs and campus resources, and supporting the leadership team with projects and events.

Closed on Holidays and in between semesters.

Hiring for Monday, Tuesday, & Friday between 8 am - 5 pm.

Required Qualifications

Seeking applicants with the following skills and abilities:
Self-starter; energetic and outgoing; customer service oriented; ability to organize; excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills; Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.

Familiarity with WSU campus
Work-study preferred

Physical Activity of this position
Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles etc., using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Agility is emphasized. Physical Requirements of this position
Light work. Exerting up to 20 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Use of arm and/or leg controls exerting forces greater than that for sedentary work.

Visual Acuity Requirements including color, depth perception and field of vision.
Required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; using a computer terminal; extensive reading.
