JOB SUMMARY
The HR Program Manager 2 is responsible for strategic design, implementation and management of Human Resources (HR) programs and initiatives, to include, but not limited to, relationship building with key stakeholders (employees, executives and vendor partnerships), communication and education initiatives, and oversight of programs and policies to ensure alignment with HR strategy and business objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
Serve as lead on key strategic initiatives, daily administration or projects; manages plans, deliverables and key milestones in support of the organization's mission, vision and values. Serves as a subject matter expert for functional area programs and processes.
Builds internal and external relationships Coordinates, collaborates and partners with and leads efforts cross-functionally to achieve desired outcomes.
Develops reports to support functional area strategic initiatives and processes.
Manages, monitors and reviews budget expenses to include all administration fees and claims.
Manages RFP processes with outside vendors and serves as a primary point of contact on vendor management issues.
Monitors and provides oversight of contracts, working with Legal, as needed.
Leads functional area; drives and manages the process for annual programs.
Manages mergers and acquisition efforts including integration of programs.
Leads the development of HRIS integration efforts for functional area.
Oversees the communication of annual plans, partnering with Marketing and outside vendors, as needed.
Assists leadership in driving the department's strategic design of programs through data analysis and evaluation, identify opportunities for cost containment from a budget perspective, and supporting the organization's enterprise goals.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
Knowledge of business foundations, including strategy, finance, operations, product and project management.
Proven track record of people, projects and process management.
Strong communications skills, both verbal and written. Strong presentation skills.
Experience managing client relationships and being a trusted advisor to clients.
Experience presenting to client decision-makers, including executives.
Ability to scope and create detailed project plans.
Understanding of multiple methodologies and related implementation considerations.
Ability to work with technical resources to determine technical activities required to deliver business vision.
Track record of creativity, out-of-the-box thinking and taking initiative.
Positive and collaborative team player.
