The Hotel:

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support company's philosophy and company culture through the use of Pillars of Legendary Quality Experiences on a daily basis to ensure Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of our Mission Statement.
  • Support company's philosophy and company culture through the use of Departmental Legendary Quality Experiences on a daily basis to ensure Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of our Mission Statement.
  • Support company's philosophy and company culture through the use of Guiding Principles and D.E.L.I.G.H.T as part of ensuring Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of our Mission Statement.
  • Runs all food and/or beverage orders from all kitchens throughout MO Lounge; confirms accuracy of order and delivers to guests with appropriate condiments.
  • When serving beverages, abides by all state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
  • Required to work in the MO Lounge.
  • Checks assigned station before, during and after shift for proper set up and cleanliness.
  • Sets up room before service, including seating area, credenzas, side stations.
  • Sets up liquor bottles for service, taking note of items that need to be restocked or ordered.
  • Set up, service and breakdown private functions in MO Lounge.
  • Set up side station.
  • Greets and acknowledges all guests, however busy and whatever time in a friendly and courteous manner and explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions.
  • Anticipates guest needs and responds promptly.
  • Accommodates all requests for information courteously.
  • Provide instruction and/or guidance for guest and employee safety in fire or other emergency situations.
  • Respond to all guest questions. Provide guest assistance, direction and information as requested when working in public areas.
  • Records the details of the order from guests, repeating as necessary, to check for accuracy.
  • Replenishes beverages as necessary and checks with guest for overall satisfaction.
  • Markets and serves upon request any dessert or specialty item.
  • Presents the check to the guest when asked and collects and processes payment.
  • Keep chairs and banquettes clean and clear of debris.
  • Make sure that all silver and glasses are wiped and spotless.
  • Mark tables appropriately to food order for each course.
  • Enter all sales in POS without errors. Double check list of items before "sending".
  • Make sure that all product served are accounted for on the final bill before presenting it.
  • Set up tables according to Managers communication.
  • Up keep and clear tables between courses through- out the meal, and upon completion of the meal.
  • Verify guest satisfaction with each table during each course served.
  • Anticipate guest needs, as to where guests will never have to ask for anything.
  • To wish each and every guest a warm farewell and thank them for coming.
  • At the end of the shift deliver all checks and report to the appropriate place according to rules.
  • Maintains complete knowledge of all menus, including all ingredients and techniques used, including, but not limited to:
    • Current a la carte cocktails.
    • Current prix fixe menu cocktails.
    • Current beers, both in bottle and on tap.
    • Current wines by the glass.
    • Current a la carte food items.
    • Current prix fixe menu food items.
    • Working knowledge of all spirits on current menu.
  • Complete familiarity with the particular service pieces or signature presentations of MO Lounge
  • Maintains knowledge of:
    • Current Day reservations, including VIPs, Dietary Restrictions, or other special instructions, via pre-service meetings.
    • Scheduled special events.
    • Current Day reservations and hourly cover count for MO Lounge.
    • Operational details for MO Lounge including hours, ambiance, menu theme or signature items, and ticket prices.
  • Maintains complete knowledge of table/seat numbers.
  • Maintains complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment; uses equipment only as intended.
  • Maintains complete knowledge and comply with all MO policies and service standards.
  • Maintains positive guest relations at all times.
  • Communicates VIP arrival into MO Lounge to management immediately.
  • Communicates guest special requests to designated personnel for follow up.
  • Handles guest complaints by involving a manager immediately.
  • Monitors and ensures that all aspects of service conform to departmental standards. Notifies respective personnel for problems to be corrected.
  • Completes closing duties as assigned.
  • Following the posted opening and closing duties and side work sheet.
  • Completes paper product inventory and maintenance assigned.
  • Report all suspicious persons or activities and hazardous or unsafe conditions to the management.
  • Maintain the dining room and station clean at all the time.
  • Assist F&B Managers in seating guests when necessary.
  • Perform any general cleaning task as needed, perform a variety of other duties as assigned not limited to station duties or duties listed above.
  • Attends food, cocktail, spirit, and other tastings/trainings as scheduled.
  • Attend daily pre meal/communication meeting.
  • Attend monthly department meeting.
  • Generate a climate of enthusiasm.
