***Please be advised that this position is located in Mecca/Thermal, approximately 84 miles from Riverside*** POSITION DESCRIPTION: The job of Community Assistant, Migrant Head Start is done for the purpose(s) of providing a variety of community liaison services related to the promotion of educational programs, parent contacts, community resource referrals and family assistance; and performs other job-related duties as assigned. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Job related experience is required. One year of work experience related to child and adolescent development, community based resources, or human relations. Bilingual preferred. REQUIRED EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent
