Description

Primary Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Learn about milk pricing, dairy market conditions and price risk management tools
  • Participate in the daily operations of DFA Risk Management to support risk management programs
  • Work on impactful projects relating to educating and informing DFA farmer-owners, customers and internal business units about markets and price risk management. This may involve contributing to our website and publications, utilizing our systems/databases, and analyzing data.
  • Work with other interns on a community-focused project
  • Gain exposure to other parts of DFA's operations through trainings and DFA internship events


Requirements
The qualified candidate will be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (entering senior year is preferred but not required). Desired degree focus is Business, Finance, Economics or related field.
