Key Responsibilities:

This position will lead a team of auditors around the system with a sole focus on quality assurance audits for the Airport Operations Business Partners. This position will be able to be responsible for development, engagement, and training for the team.

  • Prioritize daily activities of auditor team based and build and implement processes that support Business Partner Performance
  • Responsible for setting objectives, developing goals and handling performance evaluation process for direct reports
  • Establish evaluation methods to review and assess areas of strength and improvement for the auditing program
  • Responsible for ensuring performance reviews are completed following a station audit
  • Oversight and development of auditor training - initial & recurrent
  • Develops employees through counseling, mentorship, and career planning forums
  • Leads employees by motivation, mentorship, and accountability for individual performance


NOTE: This position can be based at any of our United Airline Hubs and is considered a hybrid work-schedule working on 2-3 days in office schedule, however, that may evolve with the needs of the company.

Qualifications

What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Associate degree or 2 years of relevant work experience
  • 2+ years' aviation or operational experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills; including written and verbal.
  • Outstanding social skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
  • Motivated individual that has demonstrated problem solving and decision-making ability.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to develop and mentor.
  • Time management skills
  • Must be willing and able to travel 85% of the time domestic and international

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
