YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in managing all aspects of daily warehouse activities and personnel
  • Must be a hands-on supervisor with high customer service focus and a strong ability to deal with external and internal customers.
  • Handle the routing and scheduling of drivers and trucks to assure timely deliveries
  • Effectively manage the inventory to insure order fulfillment, minimize backorders and promote inventory turns
  • Help manage truck repair and maintenance to minimize down time
  • Ensure proper record keeping and reporting
  • Maintain a clean, safe and productive work environment
  • Adhere to DOT, OHSA, local, state and federal regulations
  • Execute company policies, procedures and programs
  • Communicate and implement change as directed
Principle Accountabilities:

Assist in managing all aspects of daily warehouse activities and personnel

YOUR PROFILE

Education and Experience:
  • CDL A or B with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements preferred.
  • Forklift Experience preferred
  • Employee management/supervisory experience in a warehouse setting
  • Delivery routing and scheduling experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of shipping, receiving and inventory processes
  • Knowledge of DOT and OHSA regulations
  • General computer skills including Microsoft Office products
  • Good written, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Effective at time management and the ability to prioritize
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Quick learner with an ability to adapt
  • High school diploma or GED
