Overview

Responsible for departmental objectives, supervising processes and resolution of escalated issues, including annual enrollment and monthly eligibility process for all clients and worksite employees.



Responsibilities

  • Supervises group of direct reports; completes performance reviews, monthly one-on-ones, team meetings, new employee training, team-building activities, guidance, and disciplinary action.
  • Supervises group responsible for carrier discrepancies, COBRA compliance, Section 125 compliance, HAS administration, H&B online resolution, and internal payroll.
  • Supervises and oversees annual enrollment process with other departmental supervisors and department manager including monitoring, reporting, updates, and related reports for rate, new plan setup, and expense tracking.
  • Maintains high level of job, industry, and benefit plan knowledge.
  • Participates in joint decision-making with other departmental supervisors on issues affecting direct reports, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensures that customer service standards are communicated to benefits specialists, including training, auditing, and monitoring of procedures.
  • Oversees monthly eligibility process, including developing and distributing new plan packets.
  • Analyzes and implements process improvements.
  • Fields escalated client calls; researches and resolves client issues to meet client expectations.
  • Participates in departmental and branch-wide projects.
  • Reviews and approves financial reconciliations (adjustments and monthly audits).
  • Communicates with carriers to answer questions from clients, client-employees, benefits specialists, Human Resource Generalists, sales representatives, and managers.


Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree - Preferred
  • 1 year of experience in Leadership role.
  • 1 year of experience in Paychex experience.
  • Effective leadership skills.

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $54,810.00 - $78,300.00 salary.. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
