JOB SUMMARY

Supervise a team technicians to ensure the timely and accurate repair of scopes.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for assigning scopes for servicing to technicians, assist technicians on basic and complex repairs.
  • Schedule the scope repairs and set priorities according to customer requirements.
  • Estimate all incoming scopes in a timely manner and communicate with customer service and the manager to evaluate for possible warranty or product failure.
  • Inform customer service and the manager of the status of late scopes and parts requirements. Help maintain approved parts inventory.
  • Complete repair orders and inventory tracer and maintain traceability of all components as required to comply with all applicable company policies.
  • Ensure proper care of spares, tools and test equipment and ensure the use of calibrated equipment.
  • Management responsibilities:
    • Responsible for the day-to-day activities and outcomes of a group of employees.
    • Hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.


MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.


Work Experience

  • At least 3 years previous scope repair or production experience.




PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience as a department lead or supervisor.
  • At least 1 year of experience managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating and directing people as they work.
