Summary

The incumbent reports to the Director and Program Manager and performs a variety of functions in support of, and is responsible for the planning, development, scheduling and operational support at Central Office or a designated Regional office.

We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

Duties

  • Determines workload, establishes priorities, and provides direction to subordinates on goal attainment and methodology. Analyzes the functions and tasks assigned and determines how best to use employees' skills to accomplish work assignments.
  • Develops materials to justify staffing and budget requests and takes positive action to meet changing priorities.
  • Develops and implements building policies, regulations and procedures governing workplace management programs requiring decision making in coordination with top level executives.
  • Represents the organization to provide authoritative expertise on policies, devising new developments to resolve complex problems, and on decisions that significantly affect all employees.
  • Manages and directs physical condition assessments to provide oversight and management of valued assets and investments; compliance with applicable Federal laws and regulations to provide safe and healthful environments for Federal employees, contractors and the general public.
  • Analyzes and evaluates workspace alternatives and develops recommendations to accommodate workspace and equipment needs.
  • Oversees all contract activities related to workplace management programs to include workplace plans, operations and maintenance, efficiency enhancements and improvements, administrative programs, and special programs.

  • Undergo and pass a background investigation (Tier 2 investigation level).

  • Complete a financial disclosure report to verify that no conflict, or an appearance of conflict, exists between your financial interest and this position.
  • Serve a one year supervisory or managerial probationary period, if required.

The GS-13 salary range starts at $117,962.00 per year.

To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience analyzing customer workplace requirements in order to develop comprehensive findings; presenting recommendations, options and solutions to incorporate the customer's mission driven needs into creative workplace solutions; and coordinating efforts to ensure delivery of these solutions and effective customer relationship management.
