Your role and responsibilities

• In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of supplier assessments, drive both corrective and preventive actions based on supplier maturity and performance levels. Each day, you will manage operational supplier quality, both on-site and off-site, ensuring the thorough execution of supplier qualification and development processes. You will also showcase your expertise by managing the supplier's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

• You will be mainly accountable for:
• • Driving approval process for supplier parts, materials, and project subcontractor services, as applicable, involving collaboration with other functions/experts, encompassing activities like Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and product surveillance at supplier manufacturing sites.
• • Leading in promptly addressing supply issues related to quality, deliveries, non-compliant products, or project services.
• • Working together with buyers to engage suppliers and prepare claims cases when necessary.
• • Ensuring required supplier development processes are thoroughly executed to drive continuous improvement of the supplier base.

Qualifications for the role

• • You are the able to work closely with category teams, responsible buyers, Quality & Operations, Sustainability/HSE, R&D/Engineering and project tender teams, among others. Represents the "Voice of Supplier" to ABB, e.g. R&D, Engineering, Procurement & Logistics, Quality, and Manufacturing. Represents "Voice of Customer" to supplier
• • You have 2 years of experience in manufacturing
• • Highly adept in leading required Supplier Performance Evaluations (SPE) and secure that the results are shared with the supplier (buyer responsible).
• • You are passionate about performing risk mitigation activities.
• • Degree in a Business, Engineering field or related field
• • You are at ease communicating in English
