A client of Insight Global is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to sit fully onsite in Middle River, MD. This candidate will be responsible for working with up to 15 suppliers to ensure all quality is met. They will utilize Advanced Product Quality Planning frameworks. They will need to be compliant under AS9145, AS13100, or AS9120. They must be able to work closely and communicate effectively with the suppliers they are working with. They will be using Root Cause Analysis to determine how issues occurred and assist in remediating them.

Required Skills & Experience

3-5 years of experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer
Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
Knowledge of AS9145, AS13100, or AS9120
Experience working with up to 15 suppliers
Experience with failure mode effect analysis and creating a quality improvement plan
Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis Action specifically 8D
Determining currence or detection
Ability to communicate well internally and with suppliers
Open to travel to suppliers
