Job Summary

Provide centralized database management, coordinate routine system scheduling, and provide customer support and hands-on user training for the Material Management Information System (MMIS) in order to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data as it relates to product identification for multi-purposes, pricing, and General Ledger sub-account placement for CAMC consistency. Develop and process custom Data Writer reports for use in database management and as requested by system users.

Responsibilities

• Provide centralized database management of the MMIS and utilize custom reports to insure the accuracy and integrity of the data as it relates to product identification, pricing, and General Ledger sub-account placement. • Coordinate system processing activities and daily order entry from multiple sources. • Develop enhancement needs or changes as necessary. • Provide user support and hands-on training of MMIS as necessary. • Develop policies and procedures relating to system processing and inventory management. • Prepare numerous month-end reports, productivity indicator reports, and custom Data Writer reports as required. • Reinforce employee understanding of work integration with other departments throughout the institution.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Experience: 3 Years experience with inventory management with at least one year computerized; 3 Years multipurpose data base management.

Substitution: Associates degree in Industrial Technology with 1 year experience in operations management may substitute for 3 years experience in inventory management.
