Job Summary

Retrieve and deliver specimens, laboratory reports, medical reports, pre-admission reports, supplies and other mail to various CAMC locations, hospitals, and doctors' offices.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve various lab specimens from hospitals, Doctors' offices, and clients and deliver to lab or other locations. • Deliver various supplies, reports, and specimens to hospitals, Doctors' Offices, and clients as needed. • Maintain a courier log sheet to document daily delivery information. • Report all needed repairs to the courier supervisor in a timely manner. • Safely carry, deliver, and return radioactive nuclear pharmacy materials. • Retrieve and deliver currency interdepartmentally and externally as needed. • Retrieve, sort, and deliver mail to hospitals. • Answer telephone and maintain daily log sheet.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Perform related duties as assigned.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED (Required) Experience: 6-12 months of delivery driver experience preferred Grandfathered: Employees hired after July 1, 2016 must be 21 years of age.Experience: 6-12 months of delivery driver experience preferred Grandfathered: Employees hired after July 1, 2016 must be 21 years of age.
