Our client is seeking a Supply Chain Data Scientist to join their team in Houston, TX. The Data Scientist will be joining the supply chain group and supporting a data clean-up project from the SAP S4 implementation. The main priority for this position will be to analyze large sets of data within their commodity tracking tool and identifying opportunities for process optimization and automation. The Data Scientist will identify patterns and trends to develop machine learning algorithms to support business strategies and innovations. They will use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experience, revenue generation, and other business outcomes.

5+ years of data science experience

Understanding & experience with SAP S4

Experience utilizing large data sets to identify opportunities for automation and process optimization

Experience with Power BI and visualization tools

Understanding of the relationship between multiple data sets and how to build stories within

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with commodity tracking in S4

Experience with a SAP S4 implementation
